Job summary

Meridian Adhesives Group in the United States is seeking a Batch Maker to join our 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). You will mix raw chemical materials to create our products and follow batch work instructions to ensure quality.

You will stage materials, monitor mixing equipment, adjust batches under QC guidance, comply with safety standards, and help maintain a clean, safe work area. Prior chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Operate high-speed dispersers and other handling equipment.
• Able to read and comprehend English.
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Read digital scales.
• Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Stage and manually charge necessary raw materials into mixing container.
• Follow batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.
• Monitor and control mixing equipment and other instruments to ensure batches meet work instructions.
• Adjust a batch under QC guidance until approved.
• Follow manufacturing schedule and coordinate with Supervisor on improvements or concerns.
• Cleanup work area to company standards.
• Ensure work area is safe, clean, and free of hazards; report spills or hazards to supervisor or safety.
• Comply with PPE standards.
