Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift Sr. Electronics Assembler in Elkridge, MD. The role builds and repairs circuit card assemblies, cable/wire harnesses, and mechanical assemblies using schematics, diagrams, and documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant assembly experience, microscope inspection, solder certification, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Shift is 3pm–12:30am, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED with 4 years of mechanical assembly and/or circuit card assembly experience.
• Experience using a broad range of hand tools and safety equipment.
• Experience using a microscope to inspect PCBs and assemblies.
• Must be capable of basic solder certification and safety testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, solder electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment per schematics and drawings.
• Read wiring diagrams and lay out assemblies including harness boards and subassemblies.
• Assemble PC boards, controls, panels, converters, and related components.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area; participate in training for career development.
• Operate a broad range of hand tools and assembly equipment safely.
