Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift Electronics Assembler in Elkridge, MD to build and repair circuit card assemblies, cable/wire harnesses, and modules. You will read schematics, solder, wire, and assemble components in a team environment.

The role runs 3pm–12:30am; candidates must pass solder certification and obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance. Citizenship is required; opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED with 2 years of mechanical assembly and repair or circuit card assembly experience.
• Experience using a broad range of hand tools and safety equipment.
• Experience using a microscope for PCB assembly/repair.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain all necessary information to perform job assignments and report discrepancies.
• Plan, lay out, assemble, wire and solder electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams for point-to-point assembly.
• Lay out and construct harness boards to assemble wiring and cables.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
