Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Sr. Electronics Assembler for the 2nd shift in Elkridge, MD. You will assemble, wire, and solder electrical and mechanical components, interpret schematics, and build complex assemblies as part of an experienced team.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and a high school diploma with related assembly experience, plus the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience using a broad range of hand tools and safety equipment.
• Experience using a microscope to inspect and repair Printed Circuit Boards.
• Ability to read schematics and perform point-to-point assembly with wiring and soldering.
• Solder certification and basic skills training required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, assemble, wire and solder electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams for assemblies.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and attend training courses for skill development.
• Work as part of an assembly team to build harness boards and subassemblies.
• Operate a broad range of tools and safety equipment to complete tasks.
