Job summary

Crayola is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable machine performance in a high-volume manufacturing setting. The role focuses on preventive and demand maintenance, troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, and supporting capital projects for new or redesigned machinery.

You will use CMMS to track tasks, stock parts, and mentor junior mechanics while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; Technical Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance of electromechanical equipment, preferably in high-volume manufacturing.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Performs PM on a wide variety of production equipment including processing and packaging equipment.
• Performs DM in response to downtime, material deviations, quality issues, or safety concerns.
• Uses CMMS to track time and parts; requests replacement parts and suggests stock levels.
• Participates in development and installation of capital projects for new equipment or redesigns.
• Supports continuous improvement through cross-functional teamwork and operator training.
• Communicates performance issues across shifts using verbal and written communication.
