Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician (2nd Shift) for Plant 10 in Whitehall, MI. The role supports the Plant Engineering team with controls systems troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and capital projects across the facility.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in electrical disciplines or equivalent experience, with PLC control system expertise and strong communication skills. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an equipment build/maintenance or manufacturing environment
• OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment build/maintenance and PLC control systems
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support Plant Engineering with controls systems, equipment reliability, and capital improvement initiatives; focus on troubleshooting and PLC/HMI support.
• Collaborate with Plant Engineering, Skilled Trades and external contractors to support manufacturing operations across the facility.
