Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an off-shift Electrical Controls Technician in Whitehall, MI, to join the Plant Engineering team.

You will maintain facility equipment and manufacturing processes in the Core Plant and support upgrades, equipment installations, and project coordination. The role requires an associate degree in electrical tech/engineering or a 10-year equivalent experience, with PLC control system expertise and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology or Mechatronics with 3 years in maintenance or manufacturing, or 10 years in equipment build/maintenance and PLC control systems.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility equipment and manufacturing processes in the Core Plant in Whitehall, MI.
• Support project upgrades and equipment installations; assist in procurement and installation of new equipment.
• Provide resources for skilled trades and contracted services and support day-to-day operations.
