Job summary

Molex is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support 2nd shift on production equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and safety, collaborating with operators, supervisors, and engineering to minimize downtime.

The role requires electro‑mechanical maintenance experience, reading schematics, and working with 24VDC systems. AAS or vocational education is preferred; PLC/HMI exposure is a plus. Sign-on bonuses apply for shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with industrial preventative maintenance (motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, sensors, VFDs).
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Experience working with 24VDC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical production equipment.
• Support production with machine setups, changeovers, adjustments, and start-up verification.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and safety.
• Diagnose issues using drawings, schematics, manuals, and documentation.
• Install and maintain bearings, gearboxes, motors, sensors, cylinders, tooling, and related components.
• Support operators by resolving equipment issues and improving machine performance.
• Conduct equipment testing and validation after repairs or changes.
• Identify recurring failures and propose reliability improvements.
• Support automated equipment and related manufacturing technologies.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate status and priorities to teams.
• Train operators in basic troubleshooting and setup best practices.
• Follow safety requirements including lockout/tagout and machine guarding.
