Job summary

Hyosung HICO is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician for disassembly and mechanical/ electrical tasks in our Memphis energy transformer shop.

The role covers assembly/disassembly, wiring, testing and quality documentation within a safety-conscious manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate’s Degree in electrical or related technical field, plus minimum one year experience in testing or utilities.
• High voltage equipment and/or utility industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid math and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience using inspection tools, instruments and equipment.
• Computer literacy for data entry and retrieval.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks including loading/unloading machinery and operating non-CNC equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble parts, position and fasten per specs.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers and scales.
• Inspect and document quality to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Connect, crimp, solder and braze internal leads per specifications.
