Job summary

Hyosung HICO, Ltd. in Memphis, TN, is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician - Disassembly 2nd to perform mechanical assembly, disassembly and installation tasks for power transformers at our on-site facility.

The role includes following prints, inspecting quality, and using hand and power tools under safety standards. Ideal candidates have a two-year associate degree in electrical/technical fields and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate’s Degree in electrical or related technical field, plus minimum one year experience in testing or utilities or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks including loading/unloading, operation of non-CNC equipment, gluing, coating, testing and oil filling.
• Assemble/disassemble parts, align and fasten to final product using hand/power tools per specs.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings; inspect and document quality per specs.
• Follow prints, BOMs, specs and work instructions to select components and assist installation.
