Job summary

Hyosung HICO Ltd. in Memphis, TN, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Technician for Phase Assembly on the 2nd shift. The role covers mechanical assembly, disassembly and installation of power transformer components, with mentoring of others and collaboration with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent plus four years’ prior manufacturing experience.
• Advanced mechanical/technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading manufacturing drawings/specifications, prints or work instructions.
• Developed math and geometry skills.
• Knowledge and use of basic industrial measuring tools.
• Developed skills in the proper use of various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, disassembly and installation of components with rigid tolerances.
• Troubleshoot problems with material/parts, prints, equipment or product and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure product meets specifications, tolerances, prints and customer orders; identify and correct defects.
• Follow standard work procedures to meet safety, quality, cost and productivity targets.
• Operate TPM and preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines.
• Assist in training of new employees and developing training materials.
