Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Stamping Operator I to support stamping presses on 2nd or 3rd shift. The role includes setting up dies, changing over presses, quality checks, and maintaining production flow in a busy manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of stamping experience, basic math and computer skills, and completion of the Die Design & Theory course. A 10% shift differential applies to both shifts.

Qualifications

• Print reading and precision measuring skills required.
• Math and computer skills required.
• Completion of Die Design & Theory course is required.
• Must demonstrate die change-over proficiency to set a strip out of the die.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of Stamping Operator I.
• Move within a team setting to keep stamping presses running.
• Set up stamping dies and presses and perform die work to produce quality parts.
• Perform in-press change overs.
• Perform quality checks to ensure product quality.
• Make stock changes and stock dies.
• Assist in setting up auxiliary equipment for presses.
• Remove jams and perform minor die repair work.
