Linked, LLC is seeking a Tool & Die Maker / Die Repair Technician for the 2nd shift in Utica, MI. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain transfer and line dies to keep stamping operations efficient and productive.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in metal stamping, die work, and GD&T, with strong measurement skills and experience with transfer/line dies. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in metal stamping, tool and die building, prototype tooling, or die repair preferred.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and optimize transfer and line dies, both in and out of stamping presses.
• Diagnose tooling problems and perform necessary repairs and adjustments to minimize production downtime.
• Operate toolroom equipment and machinery safely and accurately.
• Support press setups, production efficiency, and tooling performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, die drawings, part prints, and GD&T specifications.
• Interpret CMM reports and gauging results to make tooling adjustments and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring tooling and production issues.
• Maintain product quality according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work overtime as required to meet production demands.
