Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2+ years at previous employers in related manufacturing roles.
• Experience with die casting or heavy machinery changeovers.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and reading setup sheets.
• Must be able to commute within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and auxiliary automation equipment.
• Set critical machine parameters including melt temperatures, hydraulic pressures, and shot speeds.
• Install dies, trim tools, and related components using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
• Verify hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling, and automation systems prior to production sign-off.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production for first-piece inspections and setup sheets compliance.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and crane safety procedures during setups and teardowns.
