Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Lead for the debone operation to assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department tasks and ensuring instructions are executed accurately and on time.

The role includes monitoring equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring USDA, production and HACCP standards are met. You will assist with staffing decisions based on product flow and may cover for Supervisor during absences.

Qualifications

• Must have at least six months of Lead experience with single employer within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in coordinating daily department tasks and communicating instructions to team members.
• Monitor equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify maintenance when needed, while maintaining a safe work environment per Tyson policies.
• Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone operation.
• Fill in for Supervisor in their absence and assist with staffing decisions based on product flow and attendance.
• Relieve line personnel during breaks, cover absenteeism, and maintain general housekeeping.
