Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking a DC Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Distribution Center in Darlington, SC. You will oversee daily operations in receiving, shipping, packing, or processing, and assign work to associates to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include planning daily activity, staffing, training, monitoring attendance and performance, and addressing workflow issues. A high school diploma and 2 years of related experience are required; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ***No Relocation assistance provided for this position. ***
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Makes work assignments to associates
• Plans daily activity based on work on hand plus anticipated new work
• Plans staff needs with management and requests new hires and temporary labor as needed
• Trains associates on current work procedures
• Answers questions from associates. Brings issues to management and/or Human Resources as required
• Monitors attendance, punctuality, production rates and quality for each associate. Councils and corrects as required
• Monitors work flow and backlog and takes appropriate action to remedy any problems
• Handles special projects and assignments as needed

Education

High school degree, GED, 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
