Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a DC Area Manager to oversee warehouse operations and lead Distribution Center Associates in receiving, storing, packing and shipping merchandise efficiently while maintaining safety and company policy compliance.

The 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday, 4PM–3AM. This role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven performance to meet daily fulfillment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or combination of education and experience
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment
• Management/leadership experience in a supply chain distribution center environment
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyzes productivity, efficiency, and accuracy data to lead and drive team performance and maximize individual performance.
• Leads and acts as an ambassador for Burlington’s Core Values, fostering a professional and inclusive team environment.
• Acts as catalyst for cross-functional and interdepartmental assignments and special projects.
• Provides feedback, coaching, and development to their team and to themselves.
• Ensures ongoing training and compliance with all policies, procedures, and rules.
• Leverages technology, warehouse management systems and reporting tools to drive results.
