Job summary

NRS is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for a large, fast-paced Distribution Center in Secaucus, NJ. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and consistency across shifts while developing frontline Managers and Supervisors.

The ideal candidate has run a 1M+ sq. ft. operation, strong leadership, and hands-on WMS experience, with a track record of driving process improvements and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related experience reporting to Senior Leadership.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for managing a large team.
• Proficient in Windows/MS Office (Word & Excel) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient warehouse operations and training.
• Meet or exceed volume and department efficiency goals.
• Analyze staffing needs and adjust to workflow demands.
• Establish and enforce organizational safety standards.
• Mentor and develop frontline managers and staff.
• Foster cross-department partnerships to implement solutions.
