Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Converting Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead hourly production teams in corrugated board operations. You will supervise, coach and direct activities to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, performance reviews and enforcing operational standards. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential to ensure a reliable, high-quality product and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• College and/or related technical courses highly preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisor to one assigned shift of hourly employees; supervise safety, quality, productivity and engagement.
• Plan, assign, train, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward or discipline staff.
• Promote safety, quality production and teamwork; resolve conflicts.
• Lead by example to foster a safe, efficient and quality-focused environment.
• Communicate operational information clearly to crew, supervisors, management and customers.
