Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Converting Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) at our Belleville, IL facility. You will supervise hourly staff, drive safety, quality and productivity, and lead daily production of corrugated board.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience in corrugated packaging, and at least two years of supervisory experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisor to one assigned shift of hourly employees, leading safety, quality, productivity and engagement.
• Supervise daily production of corrugated board, including training, planning and evaluating performance.
• Lead and motivate employees, promote safety and teamwork while ensuring a safe work environment.
• Communicate operational information at all levels, orally and in writing.
• Promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality and other programs.
