Job summary

Integrity Trade Services is seeking a skilled Controls Technician for our automotive manufacturing client, starting immediately at $41.72/hr. You will install, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant electrical and automated systems including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and CNC controls.

Responsibilities include updating drawings and documentation, diagnosing issues, collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality, and supporting preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Controls Engineering or a closely related technical discipline preferred.
• Three to five years of controls-related experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and motion-control systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of PCs, PLCs, CNC controls, and related automation technologies preferred.
• Experience using CAD software and electrical-drawing systems preferred.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant electrical and automated systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, CNCs).
• Modify electrical systems to improve safety, performance, and efficiency.
• Manage schematics, prints, and processor files; update documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation issues; support maintenance teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality on controls and process requirements.
• Provide controls and automation support for preventive-maintenance activities.
