Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician responsible for development, testing and implementation of programming and electrical controls across facilities. The role includes PLC/GUI programming, VFD and servo troubleshooting, and training technicians on systems.

Starting pay ranges from $46.30 to $57.50 per hour, with eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive and comprehensive benefits starting on the 90th day of employment.

Qualifications

• Electrical system knowledge including VFDs, servos, high and low voltage troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify Electrical/PLC-GUI Programming/Controls.
• Ability to use a laptop to troubleshoot a PLC problem.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to successfully multi-task.
• Basic understanding of PID loops.

Responsibilities

• Electrical System project management.
• Electrical/Programming troubleshooting.
• Electrical/Programming training of technicians.
• Managing inventory of print library/archive and backups for all machines.
