Job summary

Job Juncture in Indiana seeks a Controls Technician for a second shift (2-11 PM or 3-12 AM). A leading Tier 1 automotive supplier with several US plants; relocation is considered, with a single renter preferred.

You will design, program, troubleshoot industrial control systems, and support PLC/HMI applications while reading electrical schematics. You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve safety, reliability, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year degree or technical certificate.
• 3+ years of PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of electrical controls and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, troubleshoot, and modify industrial control systems.
• Develop and support PLC and HMI applications.
• Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and automation issues.
• Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and upgrades.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to safety, reliability, and productivity.
• Document system changes and technical solutions.
