Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a manufacturing worker for the Garland, TX facility. This role supports pre-batch and blend operations, ensures a safe, clean, and productive environment, and collaborates across teams to meet production goals.

Shift: 2nd shift, 2:00pm–10:30pm. Bonus eligibility applies based on performance and company plans. Prior manufacturing experience preferred, with emphasis on material handling and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: 1 year in manufacturing or distribution.
• Preferred: experience monitoring gauges, dials, or machinery indicators.
• Preferred: experience operating machinery in manufacturing/distribution.
• Preferred: experience monitoring quality of raw materials or finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Select, pull, measure, and stage raw materials for manufacturing.
• Follow batch slip instructions to mix and blend batches.
• Make lab adjustments, incorporate approved samples, and maintain raw material samples.
• Operate paint-making control systems and equipment such as high-speed dispersers, pumps, valves, forklift, etc.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain production records and reporting as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members.
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize manufacturing procedures.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized daily.
