Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Greensboro, NC seeks a manufacturing associate to set up, run, and maintain equipment that fills and packages product for shipment. This role performs a variety of manufacturing tasks and helps keep a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Schedule is 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm, with bonus eligibility based on performance. Applicants must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Prefer at least 1 year in a manufacturing/distribution setting.
• Experience monitoring gauges or machinery indicators is a plus.
• Experience operating packaging equipment and using material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint making control systems and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Breakdown and clean equipment including pumps, tanks, valves, and lines.
• Package and label filled containers to specifications.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Keep logs, report breakdowns promptly, and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain production records and assist other departments to finish orders on time.
• Replenish inventory of parts and supplies and keep area clean and organized.
