Job summary

Anchor Harvey is seeking an experienced CNC Technician to program and set up new jobs on horizontal machining centers, with strong CAM experience and hands-on setup skills. The role emphasizes in-process quality, alarm recovery, and continuous improvement on the production floor.

Candidates should have 5+ years of CNC experience, proficiency with CAD/CAM, and the ability to edit G-code at Fanuc controls. Aluminum and iron experience is a plus, with focus on tool selection and process

Qualifications

5+ years of CNC machining experience with programming and setup.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM; ability to build programs from scratch.

Responsibilities

Develop CNC programs from print to proven program using Mastercam or PartMaker.
Set up horizontal machining centers including tombstone and pallet fixturing; support VMCs and lathes as needed.
Diagnose and resolve in-process quality nonconformances and drive containment when needed.
Respond to machine alarms, troubleshoot machining issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Read GD&T callouts and ensure tight tolerances are met throughout production.
