Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Olive Branch, MS facility to oversee 2nd shift production processes and supervise hourly employees while driving continuous improvement in productivity and cost efficiency.

You will direct machinists and machine operators, assign daily tasks, ensure training, manage cross-training, and pursue safety and quality excellence across the machine shop.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of blueprints, calipers, and typical machine shop procedures.
• General computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Two years of experience operating and/or programming CNC Mills and Lathes.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisor for Machinists and Machine Operators in assigned area.
• Assignment of daily tasks / activities for machine shop.
• Ensure direct reports are trained and up-to-date in required processes and tasks.
• Maintain cross training matrix for direct reports and address gaps in training thresholds.
• Talent management of direct reports including development of performance objectives and execution of review process.
• Drive towards zero safety incidents and promote safety first culture.
• Drive towards zero quality issues in assigned area.
• Active management of environmental, health, and safety compliance and risk in assembly areas.
• Identifies and participates in continuous improvement activities in the Machine Shop.
