Responsibilities include precision part production, following setup sheets, and using CAD/CAM tools to program and verify parts, ensuring a safe, efficient workflow on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe with minimal supervision.
• Read blueprints and select tooling; set speeds and feeds for parts.
• Write CNC Lathe programs from blueprints.
• Use inspection tools to verify tolerances and quality.
• Maintain .0005 inch tolerance on critical features.
• Perform shop math and follow setup instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe; work from blueprints and instructions.
• Determine tooling, speeds, feeds; ensure product meets standards.
• Write CNC programs from blueprints using GibbsCAM/G-code.
• Inspect parts with mics, bore gauges, calipers to verify specs.
• Maintain tight tolerances and follow setup sheets precisely.
