Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Operator I in Torrance, CA to set up and run CNC drilling machines, read blueprints, and inspect parts per specifications.

You will perform tooling changes, monitor quality, and ensure a safe, efficient production line in a fast-paced environment. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and CNC exposure; candidates with a CNC certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Experience operating CNC drilling machines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce parts per drawings.
• Read blueprints and perform first-piece inspections.
• Perform tooling setups and routine machine adjustments.
• Maintain documentation and report issues to supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and workplace organization (5S).
