Job summary

Northstar Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to provide technical oversight and operate manual equipment within the Manufacturing Department. You will work on aerospace components in a full-time, 2nd shift role with a 12% shift differential.

Applicants should have a High School diploma and at least 5 years of CNC aerospace machining experience, along with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and MRP systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 years of CNC aerospace machining experience is required.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and 6-Sigma defect analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to CNC machinists and operate manual equipment.
• Perform precision aerospace machining operations.
• Assist with CNC setup activities and resource scheduling to meet daily targets.
• Apply Lean principles to support cost reduction and efficient workflows.
