Job summary

WellSuited Talent in Pearland, TX is hiring for CNC Machinists on the 2nd shift. The role involves setting up and running CNC lathes and VTLs to machine turbomachinery components such as impellers, rotors, casings and shafts in a 100,000 sq ft facility.

Expect 50–60 hours weekly, with Sundays paid as overtime, and a 2nd shift differential built into the hourly rate. Candidates should have turbomachinery experience, hands-on CNC lathe and VTL skills, and be able to do their own setups.

Qualifications

• Turbomachinery experience (pumps, compressors or turbines).
• Hands-on experience with CNC lathes and VTLs.
• The ability to do your own setups.
• Your own basic hand tools.
• Willingness to work 50–60 hours per week, including some Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC lathes and VTLs.
• Machine turbomachinery components like impellers, rotors, casings and shafts.
• Work from blueprints and hold tight tolerances.
• Inspect your own parts with precision measuring tools.
