WellSuited Talent in Pearland, TX is hiring for CNC Machinists on the 2nd shift. The role involves setting up and running CNC lathes and VTLs to machine turbomachinery components such as impellers, rotors, casings and shafts in a 100,000 sq ft facility.

Expect 50–60 hours weekly, with Sundays paid as overtime, and a 2nd shift differential built into the hourly rate. Candidates should have turbomachinery experience, hands-on CNC lathe and VTL skills, and be able to do their own setups.

CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift | Pearland, TX | $32–$42/hr + Overtime

WellSuited Talent is hiring 2 CNC Machinists for 2nd shift at a growing turbomachinery repair company in Pearland, TX. This is a permanent, direct hire, full-time, shop-based role in their a 100,000 sq ft. facility.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and run CNC lathes and VTLs


• Machine turbomachinery components like impellers, rotors, casings and shafts


• Work from blueprints and hold tight tolerances


• Inspect your own parts with precision measuring tools

What you need:

• Turbomachinery experience (pumps, compressors or turbines)


• Hands-on experience with both CNC lathes and VTLs


• The ability to do your own setups


• Fine with working 50–60 hours a week, including some Sundays


• Your own basic hand tools

Pay and schedule:

• The 2nd shift differential of $2.75/hr is already built into the rate


• Typically 50–60 hours a week, with double time pay on Sundays


• 2nd shift starts at 3:30 PM on 10-hour shifts or 5:00 PM on 8-hour shifts
