Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is hiring a Machinist II for the 2nd shift at our Fusion facility in Houston, TX.

You will perform turning, milling, drilling, threading and related operations on rotating equipment components, ensuring conformance to specifications and quality standards. The role requires 5+ years of machinist experience, ability to read blueprints and G-Code, and proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Machinist experience and knowledge.
• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Job shop experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate small lifts, pallet jacks and other lifting equipment; basic skills required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and G-Code.
• Read drawings and follow instructions to produce parts.
• Hold tolerances as per drawings or industry standards.
• Use and care of measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Comply with safety directives and customer requirements.
