Job summary

Condux International is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and monitor CNC equipment, ensuring parts meet quality standards. The role involves setting up machines, inspecting parts, recording production data, and maintaining a safe work area on the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00p.m.–1:00a.m.).

The ideal candidate will have blueprint-reading skills, English communication abilities, and a strong work ethic. Prior forklift or general machining experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Must be able to stand 8–10 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Must communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Experience with basic arithmetic and calibration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment per work instructions and schedules.
• Use measurement tools to verify part dimensions and quality requirements.
• Produce first-piece samples and conduct required inspections.
• Record production activity and times in the tracking system.
• Perform in-process inspections and adjust machines as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment, quality, or process issues and report to supervision.
• Perform assembly or secondary operations per blueprints.
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Attend to safety policies and participate in training.
• Complete special projects as business needs require.
