Job summary

Mate Precision Technologies in Anoka, Minnesota, is seeking a detail-oriented 1st Shift Machinist to join a climate-controlled, team-driven environment. You’ll set up and operate CNC and conventional machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet GD&T specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience operating CNC and/or conventional machining equipment required.
• Strong knowledge of machine tooling, fixtures, machining processes, GD&T, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce precision components.
• Read blueprints and GD&T, inspect own work using precision tools, troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and support 5S/Kaizen initiatives.
