Job summary

Arnold Magnetic Technologies is seeking a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Greenville, OH. You will set up and run Multi-Axis CNC Lathes with live tooling and CNC Mills, ensuring production efficiency and part quality.

Typical responsibilities include tool offsets, minor NC programming, GD&T reading, and maintenance tasks. 2nd shift hours are 2:30pm–1:00am with a $2 shift differential. Benefits and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Technical Training Certificate.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience setting up and running CNC Lathes and Mills.
• Technical Training College with CNC focus or similar Apprentice training.
• Ability to read blue prints and knowledge of GD&T is a must.
• Understanding of metric and English measuring systems.
• Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge along with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and exotic materials/high temp alloys.
• Ability to write and edit NC programs with understanding of cutting parameters.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and debug CNC Lathes and Mill.
• Make machine tool offsets to maintain part quality.
• Make minor NC program changes as needed.
• Identify signs of tool wear and perform tool changes.
• Read process sheets and GD&T drawings.
• Work on multiple machines and tasks daily.
• Use indicators, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Enter inspection data into computer software.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep area clean.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
