Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical machining training preferred.
• 3–5 years CNC machining and setup experience, including multi-axis (4- or 5-axis).
• Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and GD&T.
• Familiar with Fanuc or Mazak controls to edit programs.
• Strong shop math, geometry, and precision measurement.
• Willing to pursue 1st responder training if not certified.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong safety, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist setup and operation of CNC and manual tools.
• Read blueprints, setup sheets, and work orders to plan sequences.
• Select and install cutting tools and fixtures onto machines.
• Load CNC programs, set offsets, and adjust feeds and speeds.
• Perform first-article inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot production issues and adjust as needed.
• Maintain and clean equipment; follow safety protocols.
• Handover running machines to operators and monitor start-up.
• Operate CNC equipment as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
