Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Kent, LLC is seeking CNC Machine Operators to set up and run automated CNC Vertical and horizontal machines. You will read blueprints, adjust tools, and verify part dimensions with precision instruments in a safety‑conscious shop.

The role requires 3+ years in CNC manufacturing, experience on multi‑axis machines, and adherence to ITAR rules. 2nd shift offers a $2.00/hr differential; benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing role utilizing CNC machines or similar automated equipment.
• Experience operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines such as Toyoda, Okuma, Bertsche, Fadal, Mori-Seiki, Mazak, Makino, or OKK machines.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates automated CNC Vertical and horizontal machines.
• Accurately locates/identifies the X, Y, Z axis on Vertical and Horizontal machines.
• Uses indicators to check for straightness and flatness of fixturing and tooling.
• Performs daily point checks on assigned machines and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Interprets product blueprints, drawings, sketches, and setup sheets.
• Follows safety protocols and uses PPE.
