Qualifications

• Reads and interprets shop blueprints, sketches and instructions.
• Performs basic math operations and conversions accurately.
• Uses precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) for part verification.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines.
• Accurately locates X, Y, Z axes and checks alignment.
• Reads product drawings and setup sheets to machine parts to spec.
• Monitors tooling and makes adjustments for tooling wear and setup changes.
• Follows safety policies and uses PPE as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area and reports issues.
