Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Kent, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines. You will interpret blueprints and setup sheets, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances using calipers and micrometers.

Requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months of CNC experience. ITAR compliance (U.S. Person) is required; first shift is 6:00 am–2:30 pm with a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of CNC manufacturing experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to read shop blueprints and drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches and setup sheets to guide machining.
• Use calipers, micrometers and height gauges to verify part tolerances.
• Adjust feeds, speeds and tooling; perform tool changes as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
