Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience on Mazak lathes with Mazatrol control.
• Hands-on programming and machine setup/operation.
• Proficiency with precision measurement and print reading (GD&T).
• Solid math skills for radii, bolt circles, and dimensional problems.

Responsibilities

• Program Mazak lathes using Mazatrol and modify programs for custom parts.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills efficiently and independently.
• Complete setups on a mix of large, refurbished pump parts.
• Lay out tooling and stage raw materials for smooth production.
• Machine from raw stock and castings to tight tolerances while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Read and interpret drawings with GD&T callouts.
• Adjust speeds/feeds to maximize throughput and tool life.
• Use varied measuring instruments to verify results.
• Collaborate with Hydro shop team and work effectively solo.
