Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking experienced 2nd shift CNC Operators to run Lathe/Turn machines and advance in precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CNC Machining certificate from a Trade School preferred or acceptable work experience in lieu of schooling.
Must meet the ITAR definition of 120.15 U.S. person.
Lathe, Shaft, or Turning experience required - Min 1 yr
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry preferred
Experience with G & M codes preferred

Responsibilities

Operate regular (horizontal) or VTL (vertical) lathe machines.
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to meet customer specifications.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece using precision measuring tools and equipment.
Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes.
Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system.
