Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Los Angeles is seeking a manufacturing operator for shift 2 (3:00pm–11:30pm) to perform chemical batch processing, monitor production, and ensure quality control while documenting progress. You will operate forklifts, read and follow work instructions, and comply with EH&S regulations.

This role involves access to materials and sensitive information, with potential routine supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to troubleshoot simple equipment problems.
• Experience with prestage raw materials and verify raw material codes before use.
• Experience with Batch Tracking functions.
• Able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Chemical batch processing: charge batches, monitor processing, document progress, and transfer to storage or drumming.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts.
• Read, understand, and execute work instructions and procedures.
• Complete takt time documentation and enter downtime reasons in the control system.
• Follow all EHS regulations and participate in safety programs.
• Support related tasks and duties as directed.
