Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Andover, KS is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up, run and maintain equipment that fills and packages paint products for shipment. This role works on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm) and requires safe operation of high-speed dispersers, filling machines, pumps, valves, robotics, and packaging equipment.

You will monitor materials for quality, keep logs, perform minor repairs, and collaborate across departments to complete orders on time.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 1+ year of manufacturing/distribution facility experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate paint making control systems and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Breakdown and clean pumps, tanks, valves, and lines.
• Package and label filled containers to specifications.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Keep equipment logs and report breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain production records and collaborate across departments.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to team members.
• Suggest improvements to manufacturing procedures.
• Keep work area clean and organized daily.
