Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Changeovers: manage the setup and changeover of machinery between production runs or shifts.
• Coordinate with Production Teams: work closely with production teams to align transitions with schedules and goals.
• Optimize Efficiency: reduce downtime during changeovers by applying lean principles and suggesting improvements to equipment or procedures.
• Equipment Preparation: ensure equipment is cleaned, calibrated, and prepared before new production begins.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain records of changeover activities and report findings to supervisors.
• Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: identify and address technical issues during changeovers with maintenance teams as needed.
• Safety and Compliance: ensure changeover activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Training and Support: assist in training new team members on changeover techniques.
• Continuous Improvement: contribute to ongoing efforts to streamline changeover processes and improve equipment reliability.
