The role involves using cable manufacturing tools and collaborating with engineering teams on a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM). Requires IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications, US citizenship, and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3+ years in cable building or electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Hands-on experience with specialized cable assembly tools and equipment.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification current.
• J-STD-001 certification current.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Final Secret clearance or eligible for Secret clearance.
• Available for 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM–2:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
• Use wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Plan assembly work with design and manufacturing engineers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of signal and connectivity issues.
• Follow established cable assembly and quality standards.
