Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL seeks a 2nd shift Cable Assembly Technician to build cables per engineering drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities include cable construction, basic testing, troubleshooting, and repair, supporting programs from commercial to DoD customers.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED with 1–3 years in cable building or related assembly.
• Experience with specialized tools used in cable assembly and testing.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Final Secret or eligibility for Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
• Interpret engineer drawings, electrical schematics and specifications.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to identify potential issues.
• Perform basic testing to locate faults in signal and connectivity.
