Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Assembly Technician Level-1 to perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly work. Responsibilities include building sub-assemblies, harnesses, and cable assemblies to precise customer specifications, using schematics and instructions.

This role supports a team environment, requires attention to tolerances and measurement units, and offers a pathway to Level-2 advancement. The position is a second shift (3:00 pm ET – 1:00 am ET) in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Entry level
• Travel: Limited

Responsibilities

• Performance in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic work.
• Crimp and pin connectors, build wire harnesses, build cable assemblies, sub-assembly builds of wet processing equipment to precise customer specifications.
• Understand metric and standard units of measure; describe basic electrical circuits; understand specification tolerances.
• Follow procedures using schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
• Use tools and equipment such as sockets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, volt meters, drills, heat guns, crimp tools.
• Support a team atmosphere and company guidelines.
• Work in multiple environments, focused on sub-assemblies and some tool assembly.
• Develop skills to be promoted to Assembly Technician - Level 2.
• Any other duties assigned by supervision.
