CA Lawton, a foundry, is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Blast Operator to join its production team in Ohio. The role focuses on moving and blasting castings, operating a 12-ton crane, and supporting the foundry process with safety and precision.

What are the hours and pay?

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday (plus overtime as needed)

• Regular Pay: $22.52 / hour and higher!

• $2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift

What is the job?

The Blast Operator focuses on moving and blasting castings and plays an important role in the foundry production process.

Responsibilities may include:

• Cut off or knock off gating and risers when needed

• Operate a 12-ton crane

• Empty hoppers and sandbags from dust collectors

• Load and unload trucks

• Shotblast castings for cleaning and shipping

• Roll over castings using an overhead crane or forklift

• Perform other duties as assigned
