Job summary

CA Lawton in Minster, OH is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Blast Operator to join our production team. The role focuses on moving and blasting castings and supports our foundry process.

Shift is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed; starting pay is $22.52/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. We offer day-one holiday pay, PTO after 30 days, and a strong family-style culture.

Responsibilities

• Move and blast castings to support foundry production.
• Cut off or knock off gating and risers when needed.
• Operate a 12-ton crane.

• Load and unload trucks.
• Shotblast castings for cleaning and shipping.
• Roll over castings using an overhead crane or forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What are the hours and pay?

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday (plus overtime as needed)

• Regular Pay: $22.52 / hour and higher!

• $2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift

The Blast Operator focuses on moving and blasting castings and plays an important role in the foundry production process.

Responsibilities may include:

• Cut off or knock off gating and risers when needed

• Operate a 12-ton crane

• Empty hoppers and sandbags from dust collectors

• Load and unload trucks

• Shotblast castings for cleaning and shipping

• Roll over castings using an overhead crane or forklift

• Perform other duties as assigned
